For requirement #8, when a letter is sent to your local United States Senator regarding a request for information on a subject or a request for a photocopy of a piece of landmark legislation such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act or the Military Commissions Act of 2002, how long does it take to receive a response to show your merit badge counselor if you write a letter on notebook paper?
