‘Scouting for Adventure’ TV show

Boys’ Life magazine has always given you stories about Scout adventures — from backpacking to kayaking and everything in between.

Now, BL is bringing its Scout adventure stories to The Outdoor Channel television network in the new series “Scouting for Adventure — Presented by Boys’ Life.” The six episodes stress key outdoors skills and capture Scouts in action in a variety of locations as they explore the wilderness.

The episodes were filmed at national high adventure bases and Scout camps across the country.

Catch the show on The Outdoor Channel at the following times:

  • 8:30 a.m. Wednesday
  • 6:30 p.m. Wednesday
  • 2:00 p.m. Saturday

All times Eastern

    I just checked my local listings for the outdoor channel at the times listed. I don’t see it. Is the show still on?

    I think BL should see there is sufficient interest in offering the shows online, even if for a fee, or perhaps they can find a sponsor (paging ‘Cabelas’). Not everyone gets OLN, so some form of online viewing would be beneficial.

    This needs to be broadcast on a more readily available channel. Outdoor channel has accessability problems.
