Mission to Mars
NASA is planning to launch its next Mars lander in early August. The spacecraft is called Phoenix, and its mission is to travel to the polar region of the Red Planet to dig through and analyze the soil and ice in the area.

Seems like cool mission. but if there were primitive life or bacteria in the ice caps there, More evolved bacteria that could survive on the rover would kill it off.
